Seth Abbott

Masters-Level Graduate Research Student

Seth is a dual master’s student in Civil Engineering and Business Administration expecting to graduate in May 2025. He holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University – Idaho. He is researching the effects of delivery deserts—regions where the accessibility and efficiency of delivery services are severely limited or non-existent. His research will guide delivery service providers and policymakers about strategic planning opportunities, fostering economic growth, and improving the quality of life for individuals residing in delivery desert zones. In his free time, Seth enjoys hiking and doing home improvement projects with his wife Kenzie. After graduation, Seth is looking forward to working as a geo-structural design engineer at Keller North America in Knoxville.
